Get ready for an action-packed Labour Day weekend as the 61st Annual Nipigon Fall Fishing Festival returns from September 3–7, 2026! We have five days packed with community tradition, featuring the Nipigon Slo-Pitch Tournament, high-stakes fun at the One-Day Fish Derby, the kids' Huck Finn Derby, Euchre and Texas Hold’em, and Monday's Monster Bingo with three $500 jackpots.
There is plenty for the whole family to enjoy—including the "Nipigon Goes Blockbuster" downtown parade, Funtastic Inflatables, the 5K Walk/Run, the Firefighter’s Challenge, and the daily Vendor Market. You can also check out the Classic Car Display, place your bids at the Giant Penny Auction, and enjoy great food, open Beer Gardens, live music, and evening dances all weekend long!

Labour Day Car Show
Get ready to turn back the clock and fuel up for some classic retro fun! Join us on Saturday, September 5, 2026, for the Labour Day Car Show right here in Nipigon. The excitement kicks off downtown at 12:00 PM with an unforgettable classic car parade, followed by the main car show starting at 1:00 PM at 175 Bell Street. Whether you’re showing off your own prized ride or just love the timeless beauty of vintage chrome and polished paint, it’s set to be a highlight of the weekend.
With all cash prizes up for grabs and a low $20 entry fee for participants, the competition is bound to bring out some of the finest classic rides around. Rain or shine, the fun won't stop—if the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll simply move the party inside to the Multipurpose Room. Bring the kids, cheer on your neighbours, and make some wonderful memories. We can’t wait to see you there!
