4 Days of Family Fun and Excitement!
It's more than just a fishing derby! The festival is an opportunity for family, friends and visitors to come together to taste fantastic food, enjoy excellent local entertainment, and participate in a ton of fun activities.
Longest Running Festival on the North Shore!
For over five decades, this festival has offered something for everyone. Kick off your weekend by enjoying a cold one at the beer gardens and taking in a game at the biggest slo-pitch tournament on the north shore. Saturday morning take part in the kids races on the recreation field, then find a spot on Railway St. to watch the parade wind its way through town to the arena. At the main event site you'll find a midway presented by Canuck Amusement. You will also find food trucks and booths, and a giant penny auction.
Supporting the Community
Proceeds from the festival are distributed to local organizations including Nipigon Legion, Elks, and the Nipigon Curling Club. Funds benefit programs such as minor hockey, youth curling, cadets and high school bursaries. We thank you for supporting our community!
