About Us
4 Days of Family Fun and Excitement!
It's more than just a fishing derby! The festival is an opportunity for family, friends and visitors to come together to taste fantastic food, enjoy excellent local entertainment, and participate in a ton of fun activities.
Longest Running Festival on the North Shore!
For almost six decades, this festival has offered something for everyone. Kick off your weekend by enjoying a cold one at the beer gardens, and taking in a game at the biggest slo-pitch tournament on the north shore. Take part in the 5 km run/walk, try your luck with the fishing derbies, and meet up with your friends at the homecoming dance party. All weekend, check out the food trucks, vendor market, FUNtastic Inflatables, and the giant penny auction.
Supporting the Community
Proceeds from the festival are distributed to local organizations including Nipigon Legion, Elks Lodge, Northshore Golf Club, and the Nipigon Curling Club. Funds benefit programs such as minor hockey, youth curling, cadets and high school bursaries. We thank you for supporting our community!
